BEHOLD...the power of a t-shirt
Wednesday I was wearing this year’s Evil Russian shirt. Wednesday was a class day. Coming back into class after our break I walked down my aisle and notice the guy in the front row looking at/reading my shirt. Passing him and having noticed him looking, I looked for and noted the next guy down the line doing the same thing.
Here the competitive, male voice inside of me took off on a field day: “HaHAA. You, Mr. ‘"GVSU football division II national champions" shirt guy’ …You are envious of my obviously superior Evil Russian shirt! You don’t really know what it is, but the toughness captured in the ripped, mysterious, fight-club-esque figure and the simple phrases ‘Hodson Hall’ and ‘Evil Russian’ have humbled you! You cringe at the strength and discipline that you don’t understand!!! HA!”
