You're Right

If you ever are having a conversation and someone proves that something you said was wrong, these two words can be your friend. Now you can't just say, "you're right" like an English major...you need the tone. It kind of has to be "yerrr right" ...with LOTS of sarcasm. (ask me if you need a demonstration). By saying this you are able to tell them that yes, they were correct (and you were wrong), but, thanks to the sarcastic tone, not give them any satisfaction or glory for being right. This will make you feel even better, despite having been corrected about something.
(now, knowing this, you can go back to Tuesday's "you're right" post and understand it a little better.)
